We’re pleased to announce that our operating lease has been approved by Birmingham City Council.
The first maintained school in Birmingham to upgrade with us was The Oratory Roman Catholic Primary School; they’re able to now save £4,618 per year on their lighting costs – this means extra resources for the school and an improved learning environment for the pupils.
eLight is now able to work with all of the other 208 maintained schools in Birmingham. We’re looking to reach out and run an awareness campaign in early 2022 so that schools are aware of how we can support their journey to net-zero.
It’s wonderful news that we’ve been able to work with The Oratory School – and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to work with many of the schools within Birmingham City Council now that our operating lease has been approved meaning we can help many more schools in the region kickstart their net zero journey with us.
