Halley House School

The challenge

Halley House School is part of the Bellevue Place Education Trust. The trust is committed to achieving net zero by 2030 having signed up to the Let’s go Zero pledge.

Let’s Go Zero brings together UK schools who want to be zero carbon, are reducing their climate impact, and demanding greater UK government support to achieve this goal.

The solution

The survey of Halley House identified that they had older lighting and that installing LED would improve the learning environment, reduce costs, and lower carbon emissions.

Furthermore, we were able to offer the school guaranteed savings on the LED lighting when they took up the installation of our intelligent metering technology MY ZeERO.

The MY ZeERO platform enables circuit-level energy usage real-time reporting. This meant we could show exact before and after energy consumption and cost for lighting.

The platform also enables the school to measure and monitor any further energy efficiency projects as well as help identify energy waste to drive changes in behaviour across the school.
