Dublin company eLight has completed an LED lighting project with timber distributor and builders merchant Brooks.
Under the terms of the contract, agreed last November, eLight installed energy efficient lighting at Brooks’ seven stores nationwide.
More than 1,000 lights were installed across the seven stores by manufacturers including Philips and Actavo.
The project is expected to reduce Brooks’ lighting costs by €91,0000 per annum. The LED lighting will be paid for over three years as a portion of the energy savings made.
“Lighting is an important part of our business. We want to show our products looking their best.” said Brooks Director Liam Fallon. “In the weeks since that work has been completed, we have already saved thousands of euro on energy costs.”
